Join us for an insider’s experience into Being Bear in Glacier National Park this summer. Highlights include hiking in Balu Valley, the incredible Live Fire – Eat Like a Grizzly Gourmet dinner and evening fireside talks about what living with grizzly bears and wild creatures is all about. Adventure & Understanding with Indigenous Interpretive Guide Tim Patterson
This 2-day 2-night package at Heather Mountain Lodge brings nature to your senses, explores cultural interpretation, and touches on the Indigenous history within the Columbia Valley and the Rogers Pass area. We celebrate the ancestral lands of the Shuswap and neighbouring Ktunaxa Nations and the Ktunaxa Kinbasket Treaty Council.

A stay at our lodge is the chance to experience a hospitality sometimes forgotten in the hustle and bustle of chain hotels. We take extra care selecting the comfiest linens, mattresses and pillows for ultimate rustic relaxation. Wake to fresh coffee from the Nespresso coffee system found in each room or cabin, refresh yourself with locally made soaps or treat yourself to a restful sleep with our turn down service treat. We love going above and beyond in every aspect.
Pet-friendly rooms are available for an additional $25 per night and we know you and your pets will have a paw-sitive experience! Make sure to let us know in advance if you are travelling with a furry friend. We can’t wait to meet them!
The more the merrier in the mountains. Our rooms are priced for double occupancy, however, additional guests are welcome to enjoy the room at $95 per person per night, which includes $75 towards food & beverage purchases in our Dining Room & Lounge, or towards our gourmet boxed “excursion” lunches – to fuel you during your incredible Glacier Park Experiences! Up to 4 guests maximum per room.
