Kindle Dining

Ignite your senses at our brand new restaurant – Kindle at Heather Mountain Lodge.

Kindle’s purpose is to define Columbia Valley fine dining cuisine by utilizing the best local products grown and foraged on our property, or sourced from our region. We use our live fire grill to highlight Chef Stephan Drolet’s style of incorporating open flame cooking techniques to the preparation of his menu items. Farmed, Foraged, Fired. This summarizes the elements that come together to form the fine dining experience unique to Kindle at Heather Mountain Lodge.

Keeping with our style of rustic meets luxury, our culinary techniques pay homage to the most traditional way of cooking – over an open flame. Our brand new outdoor live fire cooking station allows our chefs to cook with nature, in nature.

The beautiful post and beam dining room at Heather Mountain Lodge creates the perfect atmosphere to celebrate Best Day Evers in luxury. Treat yourself to incredible food paired with local wine from the nearby Okanagan Valley, with the mountains that provided your day’s adventures now forming a picturesque backdrop for your dining experience.

Dining at Kindle is an off-the-grid fine dining experience that is truly unique. But ultimately, Chef Stephan Drolet’s incredible food speaks for itself. Check out the menu.

Food Menu

Our menu is carefully designed with our lodge guests front of mind, to be fresh, wholesome and to suit any social occasion. From our fine-dining comfort-food fusion dishes to picnic-style sharing platters, we’re confident you’ll be blissfully satisfied – and then some.

We look to our neighbouring ranches and fisheries in Alberta and British Columbia to bring our guests the very best produce, sourced close to home. We forage natural grasses and hand-pick berries for our kitchen pantry. We grow our herbs and vegetables for our daily soups and casseroles in our garden right here. It’s amazing what you can find in the middle of nowhere.
