Like almost all the hikes in Rogers Pass, there’s going to be a lot of uphill, but the pay-off is huge! Hermit Meadows is no exception. Starting steep and challenging from the very beginning, this half-day hike will take you up 875 metres of elevation to some amazing wildflowers, campsites and views of Rogers Pass.
You’ll be able to see waterfalls, and all sorts of wildlife (be Bear Aware!) but you’ll likely run into squirrels, marmots, grouse and many species of plant life. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear, bring lots of water and packing a lunch will give you a great reward once you reach the top!
