Kindle’s purpose is to define Columbia Valley fine dining cuisine by utilizing the best local products grown and foraged on our property, or sourced from our region. Farmed, Foraged, Fired. This summarizes the elements that come together to form the fine dining experience unique to Kindle at Heather Mountain Lodge.
The beautiful post and beam dining room at Heather Mountain Lodge creates the perfect atmosphere to celebrate Best Day Evers in luxury. Food Menu
Our menu is carefully designed with our lodge guests front of mind, to be fresh, wholesome and to suit any social occasion. From our fine-dining comfort-food fusion dishes to picnic-style sharing platters, we’re confident you’ll be blissfully satisfied – and then some.
We look to our neighbouring ranches and fisheries in Alberta and British Columbia to bring our guests the very best produce, sourced close to home. We forage natural grasses and hand-pick berries for our kitchen pantry. We grow our herbs and vegetables for our daily soups and casseroles in our garden right here. It’s amazing what you can find in the middle of nowhere.

Wine List
Relax with a well-deserved glass of wine selected from our cellar collection of quality blends. From old world to new world, our list features an extensive choice of reds, roses, whites, and some sparkling wine varieties.
Of course, we couldn’t be this close to B.C.’s Okanagan Valley, without having a delicious selection from Canadian wineries, so you’ll see plenty of options produced right here at home. Ask our team to help pair your dinner dish with the ideal wine choice, we’d be very happy to share our recommendations.
Looking for something different to wine? Why not let us shake up, or stir, a classic cocktail as a refreshing dinner aperitif? We have our lodge cocktail featuring the Classics, including a selection of Martinis. We also have a range of quality spirits to enjoy on the rocks, or for the beer lovers, we offer a tasty selection of Pilsners, light and dark ales, porters and ciders – with a strong presence of local BC breweries.
